Creating and developing a culture of wellness at your company is important. Employee wellbeing affects workplace productivity and engagement, and can substantially impact health and healthcare costs—which becomes a major concern for any company. Research shows that presenteeism, often a factor in sleep deprivation, results in as much as $250 billion in lost productivity in the US each year. Meanwhile, wellness intervention about topics like sleep deprivation has been shown to combat the kinds of factors that lead to such losses in productivity. Healthy employees are happy employees, particularly when they are well-rested.
How important is sleep, really? This webinar will provide a brief overview of some of the surprising connections between healthy sleep and the things that we care about — weight management, mental health, physical performance, brain function, etc. We will also examine the role of technology as both a source of problems but also promise in the quest for better sleep health.
